We live in an ever-changing environment, with easy access to information and resources, our learners have to make complex decisions with speed. To outperform, they need to make meaningful connections and informed decisions. This involves being mindful, probing deeper, and asking the right questions to navigate the complexities of our modern world.
As such, in term 3, our learners shall discover the world of chemistry that surrounds them in their everyday lives. From investigating what makes cooking both an art and a science, to experimenting with instant ice packs, they shall also determine their role in combating global warming. Through these, they will not only navigate their own lives more safely and efficiently but also contribute to a healthier planet, becoming leaders in their own right.
At the end of the lesson, they will leave satisfied, having answered their own questions, solved their own problems and created learning-they-can-use back in their own lives!
